Our horses all live together in a family group and we try to make their living conditions as natural possible – the happiness of our horses is very important to us – we believe in our horses comfort and well being at all times. As a lot of our horses are rescue horses, we try to give them as calm and stress free a life as we can, to make up for their past traumas. We train with kindness and do not use whips. All of our horses are bare foot and ridden in bitless bridles – but don’t worry – this has only improved their behaviour. We have open fields, cool shady pine forests, olive groves and streams. For any of you who are nervous of heights, don’t worry, there are no very steep, narrow mountain paths, all the tracks are wide and we don’t ride on roads, (with the odd exception of a quiet country road if it links one track to another). We cater for all abilities and you choose the speed you are comfortable with. Our horses are kind and sure footed and we will ensure that we find the right horse for you and your requirements.

ARCHERY
Demonstrate your skill with the bow in our facilities, shooting at our different targets, which we update every year.
No previous experience is necessary, but children must be accompanied by an adult.

SAILING
Lake Vinuela is perfect for sailing since we usually have constant winds from North-South and South-North. Plesae note prior experience of sailing is required!

4x4 ROUTES
Our offroad trail rides follow several routes through the Axarquia area in 4x4 vehicles, exploring the natural park and enjoying its gastronomy and culture.

Multi-activity packages include kayaking, pedal boating, sailing, archery (3 hours of activities) and food.

Arabic-Turkish Cave baths El Ventorro

“Pure heaven! For 16 euros you can get entry to the baths and for an extra 15 to 30 euros you can add a massage. (on Tuesdays admission to the baths are 10 euros). There is a large pool in the centre, and hot and cold tubs tucked away on the side. The best part is the steam room that smells of herbs. The baths are closed for siesta between 1:30 and 5, but this provides the perfect opportunity to eat at the restaurant, known for their grilled fish and meats. The iberican pork and grilled sea bass won't disappoint. Their soups are also fantastic. Try a tinto de verano con limon, a drink made of red wine and lemon soda - delicious!!”
