The Pool
Above the house, hidden in a glade of ancient olive and holm oak trees, the huge, south facing swimming pool is completely secluded and private.
The generous sized pool is large enough for proper swimming and deep enough for diving, surrounded by a large viewing terrace with shaded canopy, sunbeds and pool shower.
It is in the most beautiful spot, completely unobserved but with dramatic unbroken views of the valley below, Lake Vinuela and the Mediterranean sea. You can watch swallows dive and eagles soar overhead as you splash in the water, or take a moonlight dip to the sound of owls and nightingales.
The pool is child friendly and safe, accessed through a lockable gate.
Outside
The villa is set in beautiful grounds amongst meadows of wild flowers, pomegranate and peach trees and groves of almond and olives. The gardens are filled with the scent of jasmine and a profusion of colourful blooms and blossoms. There are sunny courtyards and terracotta tiled terraces shaded by grape vines and wisteria, and a rooftop balcony with fantastic lake and sea views.
A wide veranda runs around the villa with a dining terrace, outdoor kitchen and barbecue for dining alfresco under the grapevines. At the rear of the house is a Moorish walled courtyard with roses and bougainvillea, and there are all kinds of pretty, hidden corners in which to read a book, sip a chilled drink and get away from it all.
